Our investment in training, and ultimately our people, means we are well equipped to service any contract safely and competently. We have been providing excellent levels of service to our clients for over 10 years and can support any project from initial survey to completion.
Antony founded the company with the help of the Prince’s Trust 10 years ago and has gone from a sole trader working alone in a small van to one of Merseyside’s best contractors. SSR has anything up to 20 operatives out in the field daily, completing work for well known brands such as the NHS, Home Bargains, Everton Football Club & Engie.
Antony’s work with the Trust has seen him win the Enterprise Award for business and become a young ambassador. He is passionate about helping the trust to raise money to help the next crop of talented young people build a brighter future. Antony has represented the trust and been guest speaker at many events from a Buckingham Palace garden party to The House of Lords.
Here at SSR we are proud to be a member of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors. NFRC actively ensures that all members offer high standards of workmanship and sound business practice through a strict code of practice, vetting procedure, and site inspections. As a specialised flat roofing contractor we are approved for Polyroof /SIKA / Alumasc offering a wide range of solutions for any waterproofing needs.
SSR are also members of NFRC’s competent person scheme which allows us to self-certify our work to building control standards. This prevents us needing to notify building control every time we strip a roof. If your contractor does not have this accreditation, and doesn’t have building control involvement, you, as the client are at risk of non-compliance.
